Alleged Jamaican druglord Christopher “Dudus” Coke has arrived in New York after being extradicted on weapons and drug charges. Coke was arrested on Tuesday nearly one month after a bloody standoff with police in Kingston, the capital of Jamaica. However, in Tivoli Gardens where the fighting took place, his supporters told Al Jazeera’s Monica Villamizar that he protected the local comunity and supported local politicians. June 25, 2010
